5MP Pop-up Webcam
Engage in virtual meetings, streaming quality video directly from your monitor with the built-in 5 mega-pixel, high definition camera. The webcam conveniently pops up when needed and tucks away behind the bezel when not in use.
4-in-1 Adjustable Stand
The ergonomically-designed HP 240 WJB comes with a 4-in-1 stand that features swivel, tilt, pivot, and height adjustments. It can be raised or lowered to suit each individual's seating preference.
178° Ultra-wide Viewing Angles
The HP 240 WJB features a 16:9 aspect ratio LED-backlit panel with a 178° ultra-wide view angle that minimizes color shift on both horizontal and vertical planes to ensure quality visuals from almost any direction.
Versatile Connectivity
The HP 240 WJB features an extensive array of connectors and hardware interfaces. It provides seamless connectivity with your PC and AV equipment via HDMI, DP, DVI, and D-Sub ports. The Built-in USB 3.0 Hub allows user to conveniently connect their plug&play multimedia devices such as storage devices, peripherals and many other accessories which have USB connection available. Note that many devices like HDD's may need to be powered on independently, as they have higher power requirements than the monitor USB HUB can provide.
Flicker-free DC Dimming
The HP 240 WJB features flicker-free DC dimming instead of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to control the backlight's brightness. It reduces eye strain, especially for users who experience PWM sensitivity.
Low Blue-light Mode
The HP 240 WJB reduces users' exposure to short-wavelength blue light that may cause eye strain and disrupt the Circadian rhythm.
Anti-glare Treatment
The HP 240 WJB display is treated with an anti-glare surface, which helps to reduce eye strain. The monitor's bezel also has a matte finish to prevent specular reflections.
Speakers and Headphones
The HP 240 WJB is equipped with stereo speakers, negating the need for external speakers. A 3.5mm audio output jack allows the user to plug in headphones, too.
