Registration is an important part of your Hannspree experience. It allows us to inform you of important information or updates regarding your product. The information you provide will be used for our records only and will not be distributed to other agencies. To register this or any Hannspree product please complete the warranty service registration card found in this manual and return it by mail. You may call our Customer Service toll-free at:

LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE

Hannspree North America, Inc., (the "Warrantor") warrants to the original owner of the Hannspree product that it will repair or replace, the defective product or parts thereof due to defects in materials and workmanship (other than those parts excluded below) from the date of the original purchase of the product as follows:

Hannspree HDTVs: 1-Year limited warranty on LCD/Backlight, Parts, and Labor from original date of purchase and 30-day limited warranty on accessories.

Hannspree Monitors: 1-Year limited warranty on LCD/Backlight from original date of purchase. 3-Year limited warranty on Parts and Labor from original date of purchase.

Hannspree Laptop PCs: 1-Year limited warranty on LCD/Backlight, Parts, and Labor from original date of purchase. 6-Month limited warranty on battery and power supply from original date of purchase.

Hannspree Digital Photo Frames: 1-Year limited warranty on LCD/Backlight, Parts, and Labor from original date of purchase.

During the period of this limited warranty, Labor, Parts, and the LCD Panel (other than those excluded below) will be covered. The decision to repair or replace a product or component during the warranty period will be made solely by the Warrantor.

The warranty period starts from the date of the original purchase. The purchase receipt or other proof of purchase must be provided to claim any warranty service.

The Warrantor warrants any replaced or repaired product for a period of ninety (90) days from shipment, or through the end of the original warranty period, whichever is longer.

This limited warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in materials or workmanship.

You must pay any shipping charges, export taxes, custom duties and taxes, or any charges associated with transportation to Hannspree or Hannspree Customer Service Centers. In addition, you are responsible for insuring any product shipped or returned and assume the risk of loss or damage during shipping.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

Accessories are covered for thirty (30) days from the date of the original purchase of the product. Accessories include cables, power adapters, and the remote control.

This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER consumables, such as batteries. All other parts are covered by this warranty.

This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage; damages that occurred in shipment; failures caused by products not supplied by the Warrantor; failures that result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, faulty or improper installation, operation and maintenance, or use in violation of instructions furnished by the Warrantor, setup adjustments, power surges, modification, or commercial use, rental use of the product, service by anyone other than the warrantor; or damage that is attributable to acts of God, such as flood, storm or lightning. The above warranties do not extend to units of which the serial numbers have been removed, altered, defaced, or rendered illegible.

Neither this warranty nor any other warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose shall extend beyond the warranty period.

No responsibility is assumed by Hannspree North America, Inc.

For any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to damages or injuries resulting from the use or inability to user the product.

Some states do not allow imitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation limited one-year warranty of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.


HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE

Should the need for service arise, please contact Hannspree Customer Service at:
888 808 6789 (1-909-992-5025 outside of the US); Mon - Fri: 8:00am to 5:00pm (EST).

Our Technical Service Agent will provide you with instructions on the product return and repair process. Services covered by the warranty as described in the "Limited Warranty Coverage" will be provided at no cost to the customer. Other services as defined in this manual will be performed at the owner's expense.

The owner is responsible for packing, shipping, and insurance costs to send the product to the repair center. The Warrantor will not be held liable for damage or loss during the shipping process. For sets 25" or larger, since they may have additional screws or have additional accessories to remove, please contact Hannspree Customer Service for additional service instructions.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL BOX AND PACKAGING MATERIALS FOR CONVENIENCE IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT YOU REQUIRE SERVICE.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Customers who take the product outside of the United States are covered by this limited warranty but are responsible for paying all freight charges incurred in shipping, importing and exporting the product to and from the Hannspree repair facility, including all customs duties, value added taxes, and other associated taxes and charges.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
